- Electronic medication administration record (eMAR)

- Scheduled doses generated from the order frequency (OD, BID, TID, QID, q4h–q12h, nocte, once, stat) with overdue flags
- Five-rights check on every dose: active order, right patient, medication, dose and a ±2 hour window unless an override reason is given; doses can be held with a reason
- Roadmap: barcode scanning
